I don’t really get this. Is she stepping on the baby in the second frame? If yes, how did the baby get from the mother’s arms to the ground under her? Why is the baby laying next to her in the third frame with a bug thorax underneath her? And what exactly is ‘message’ supposed to mean? Also in the third frame there’s a person standing by the fence that’s reaching forward. Is that supposed to be the mother from the first frame? If yes, why is she bald? If no, who is it and why are they important enough to be drawn out separately from the crowd? I’m not inept at interpreting political cartoons, but this one is just too vague for me.
