When I look at my 401k. This becomes more and more apparent. 17y with company and bullshit to show for it. I make more. They take more. Fees increase to “manage” my 401k, inflation makes it shrink. Then on top of all that. Taxes I’ll have to pay later.. when retired and drawing against the 401k. Taxes in the future will most likely increase. Roth seems slightly better. But a sham as well. Are we all fucked as far as retirement goes? I don’t know. Pretty sure most of us will be. I almost have a house paid off and couple decades left to work. But then still have to pay for insurance and taxes.. bills and food repairs. Vacations. I doubt my 401k will cover that shit.
You should understand. Preventing you from accumulating wealth is part of the program. They don't want a middle class, because only a middle class can produce challengers to their power.
I just want some fkn land. I can farm, build shit in garage or woodshed, somewhere to be safe for my family m. And be left the fk alone.
