Classic priorities for peppers.

  1. Shelter
  2. Water
  3. Defense
  4. Food
  5. Information/comms

If you have 1 you have NONE. So have primary and tertiary backups for all of the above.

Have all the above? Break it out based on most likely potential event. Hurricaine/flood? Shelter/food/transport civil war? Information comms and defense become priorities.

On the note of water and food. I would personally make sure and have at least a years supply.

In my area fresh water is easy to come by. None the less having some on hand is never a bad idea.

Rule of thumb when it comes to supplies. When you think you have enough, double it!

Yeah this guy is going to live. When it comes to water having it in mtiple tanks in different locations is a good idea as well. Busted valves are a thing.
