NATURAL ANTIBIOTICS:

It's 1 year after World War III and all western medicine is scarce. You get an infection. What do you use in place of antibiotics? Well there are several alternatives that are just as powerful as the prescription but without all the nasty side effects.

Number one is GARLIC. It is antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral. When we have sore throats we grate the garlic and take a spoonful of it mixed with raw local honey. For ear infections you can make an ear oil by heating the crushed garlic and olive oil together. Let cool to warm and strain. Place a couple drops in the infected ear. Can also be used in in the mouth for tooth infections.

Number two: Colloidal silver. This is really a coverall. We have used it for strep, ear infections, cuts, and more. Colloidal Silver is tasteless, and can be made at home. It can be used topically and internally. Colloidal silver does act like a traditional antibiotic, though in that it kills some good bacteria as well so it is always a good idea to have some probiotic rich foods while taking colloidal silver. Some ideas are fermented pickles, kombucha and yogurt.

Number three: Grapefruit seed extract. Taken internally this is effective against urinary tract infections, ecoli, parasites, salmonella and even some parasites. It is antibacterial and well as antifungal.

Number 4: Oil of oregano can be used for topical and internal infections as well. "It can be applied to the skin for skin conditions including acne, athlete's foot, oily skin, dandruff, canker sores, warts, ringworm, rosacea, and psoriasis; as well as for insect and spider bites, gum disease, toothaches, muscle pain, and varicose veins. Oregano oil is also used topically as an insect repellent."

Some other natural antibiotics include manuka honey, tea tree oil, goldenseal and echinachea. There are several other plants with antibacterial and antiviral properties as well. It is always beneficial to do your own research. I am not a doctor. Just someone who prefers to use nature over medicine. I hope this information is useful for some of y'all.
