Is it the same as a Cammie Roll?

I guess you stuff socks and underwear in there too for a full clothing kit.

Doesn't seem like it would stretch out socks like the Skivvy Roll.

That was so long ago, lol. I remember having to use sharpie on all my clothes. It would be the first initial of your last name followed by the last four of your SS# on basically everything.
