Have any good ideas that you could share with others about what you did or are planning to do to prepar for next kike funfair?

I've been looking at my meds, think I'm fairly stocked up, but I was think about getting some Actived Charcoal in case of food poisoning and indigestion. Anyone have any experience with it?

Also what are your plans in case of power grid shutdowns and heating in these situations?

My advice for you would be to double check security of all access points to your property and house. Install some internal bolts on your doors, get some decen solar powered lights for your yard to deter nigs.

Also dig a grave in you front yard and put a headstone on it saying "You - if you don't keep walking".

It's small things like this that help deter potential burglars.

It was a comic relief, I'm not really going to bury burglars in my yard.

There are freezes in the basement and meat is getting pricey.

activated charcoal is the "witches" way to fend off rufies. It does work, expands in your stomach, absorbing toxins or poison and then you purge it. It's what they use in the hospital to pump your stomach. Also whitens your teeth. It doesn't matter what preps you have if you can't defend it, right? But yeah, seeds, a megaphone and a copy of the Bill of Rights, essential things like this are on my list.

Now, megaphone is a great idea, that could definitely be useful.

I'm preparing to pay a lot more to heat my house this winter. What I'm hoping is that there won't be actual shortages, where I can't get the fuel I need from any source. If that does happen, I've got a woodlot and a woodstove for emergency use. I'm thinking about buying some electric heaters, so that if there is a fuel shortage, I can still use electricity. There's already one electric heater installed in my house, but it's not enough to heat the whole house.

Heat is not the biggest problem. At worst, all you need to do is keep your pipes from freezing, and that doesn't take much heat. The bigger problem would be a loss of electricity, because my furnace works on electricity. If that went out for any length of time in the winter, it would be more difficult.
