For the anthem, honored dead, and patriotism yes but not b/c I love all my countrymen. I do love all those that serve despite whatever faults I observe. When you realize you're not perfect yourself you respect others who have the intent to help others. But... The underlying reason I stand is because I'll never kneel before anyone. Torture aside at least I hope I won't.
