Sad but true. Bourdain epitomized the jaded Generation X view of the world, thinking that being cool somehow made being miserable acceptable. I saw an alternate timeline of myself in him, and was saddened by his death. Doomers must remember that doom is more than an attitude. Believe in it too much, and it will come to pass.
