People have such a romantic notion of the 2nd. That when a population feels its govt no longer represents them this gives them the ability to remove said govt. Easier said than done. No govt feels it is tyrannical. It feels fully justified in its actions. Those who oppose it and seek to bear arms in order to remove will be always considered criminals and terrorists. There will be no romance. No heroes. You will be publically destroyed and made an example of. Those in power play for keeps and dont think for a second that the feds and the other state govts won't help to destroy you. A public that can physically remove one state govt by force of arms poses a credible threat to every other state and federal govt. You dont want the people knowing they have actual power, they can only ever have the misguided fantasy of power (the much worshipped 2nd amendment).
