They want everything tied to your real name so they can fire you and de-bank you if you type kike or nigger or just post crime statistics or other "hate facts".

As for the porn stuff I remember back in the early 2000s my friend's parents had child safety stuff installed on their family computer. The ability to block your kids from going on 18+ websites has been around forever.
Maybe they just don't want or don't care about remote workers in their state.
