As a fisher of men, please do.
I find that most unlikely.
Thank you for your comment, much obliged and grateful.
I copy this complaint that i have made to southwark for your information and action.
a video has just popped up of two american men fishing.
i have just sent the following to verizon who seem to be responsible for the unacceptable content.
"please help us, and the fish. we seek and need your aid.
i find this content intensely offensive, that grown men can find pleasure or excitement in torturing a sentient creature is not acceptable to me; that it appeared to be advertised or titled as music was misleading and caused me to open this disgusting material.
how would you like to be dragged through the water with a hook in your cheek, that rips out your cheek when the hook is removed, left gasping for air, effectively waterboarded for hours.
how would you like to be eaten? possibly gutted whilst still alive. so why would you do it or watch it being done to another creature that should have the same human rights to life etc as do you.
what is sauce for the fish is sauce for the human.
these men should be in a psychiatric ward.
it is only a matter of time, and likely a relatively short time, by this christmas(?) that this sort of content will be purged from the internet and perpetrators locked up in prison penitentiaries for long periods until they reform their "humanity".
i suggest you start with deleting this today. get ahead of the curve. lead and don't follow fashion or a bigger , or many smaller fish may eat your lunch.
until such time verizon shares are a sell for us."
and it reminds me that we have stopped walking around the east end of the lake because every time i pass any of the, generally grown men, fishing i feel the pain and distress of the fish. the mere thought is utterly repulsive and disgusting.
if they need to meditate or escape their accommodation or family circumstances, they can walk in the woods, gaze at the sky or find some harmless "entertainment on xbox or playstation.
this fishing in burgess park must stop.
i have occasionally tried to engage with them. others might just push them into the lake or cause an injury to them commensurate with the harm they cause the fish.
we live in a so called civilized country in the twenty-first century.
we rely on southwark to do the right thing.
yours faithfully,
