Pence has too many pedo buddies in Indiana- Never did trust him. My money is on The Plan & that there is a contingency already in play. The military will be involved- because our justice system cannot and will not do their jobs. POTYUS will exhaust every option before he involves the Military. Yes, any politician should not be a millionaire. Politicians should make minimum wage for whatever state they are representing. A person should not want to get into politics to get rich, that is an inherent flaw with our current system. Being in government should be a selfless act someone does to better their country, not to become rich and powerful.

I think you nailed it. The real problem is the lack of term limits. Politics was NEVER intended to be a lifelong pursuit. You were expected to be a citizen farmer, shop keeper, mechanic whatever. You are elected in, you serve your term an get the hell back to a regular life.

Two limit max, just like the president, pay them the average wage of the place they are representing. Make lobbying of any sort illegal, and many problems will vanish almost instantly.
