You know, some times you can OVERTHINK things and you are living proof of it. I submit two simple questions -

1) If all the criminals agree that no crime was committed, does that mean that no crime was committed?

2) If a state certifies an election in which more votes were received than there are registered voters in that state, was the election held in a manner as directed by the state legislature?

1- no a crime was committed but the jury (Congress) allowed it to be gotten away with.

2-No but if the Legislature doesn't raise a finger to correct it it stands by reason of no contest.

1) Correct but it is still a crime.

2) Wrong, if incontrovertible proof is given that the electors were not cast "in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct," then Pence is LEGALLY OBLIGATED, as a Constitutional Officer, to reject or ignore those electors.

Now start looking at State governor given executive orders.

I hope you are correct. We shall see.
