It was created so that no one else could join Gab and steal Trump's handle. Andrew himself has said more than once that he made the account with the intent to turn it over to Trump if he ever wanted to join Gab. Trump is NOT on Gab yet. I have been on Gab since almost day 1 and was there when the account was announced. If Trump actually took control of the account Torba would have made an announcement that would have immediately been at the top of the popular post of the day page. Immediately.
