People think that standing your ground is something easy and it won't have any consequences on your future. Like, they will go against the system for couple of days/weeks (to flatten the fucking curve of righteousness) and then it will all go back to normal. Majority of people who stood up against system got their lives destroyed or changed drastically. There is no coming back after you publicly announce that you go your own way, from this second system will try to destroy you as dangerous to it's well-being.
