This one older couple in their 70s had this idea they were gonna create a tech company. they are severely in debt, know nothing about tech, know nothing about the environments or the landscape. however, they have zero money for retirement and they have resorted to ride sharing to make ends meet. they also have atrocious spending habits, and keep tacking on new debt every year from bullshit expenses. their idea was that i would become a co partner, and then it would become a partnership llc. except there are so many issues with this idea. first, all the expenses would fall on me, the payroll, the accounting, the income revenue, etc. literally everything would be paid from one side. second, the guy wants the revenue stream to be based off income, so he wants me to pay 50,000/yr for him to go "learn" coding, whatever that entails. since there wouldn't be a concept of payroll, this would be 4,000/month in flat time, which is absolutely insane. on top of this, they make me look like the diva for not partaking in their bullshit. now their fucking kids have come in the mix, because they don't want to be the ones footing the bill for their parent's retirement. i have only known these people for around 3 months, and this is the bullshit they have tried dragging me into. fuck this church so much
