I'm not looking for work, but I still get emails to my job mail. Supposedly, these places are just desperate for people (they're not, they're just complaining as usual,) but they're sending out recruiting mails en masse. I get this today:

The Component Test Technician will work in Delaware AC Power Facility RCAR / Code 15 Area. This position will focus on field component returns for RCAR analysis and code 14/15 returns. This position will support RCAR for NA region and will report to Vertiv Services Technical Support Tier 2/3 with dotted line report to AC Power Quality.

What the fook is that supposed to mean? What's a code 15 area? What are code 14/15 returns? The post doesn't tell you what you're working on, with, what the pay rate is, nothing about the job other than some boilerplate electrical-related boilerplate.

If a company can't tell me what they want without using a lot of internal jargon, then they earn a place in the deleted emails folder.

I understand where you are coming from. I understand the transitional nature of language and I grok you. I also understand I’m here to do a job, I need to sell my poor excuse for a company to you. You need me, you need me to sell you this idea. Consider it bought and sold, lie to yourself again.

Acting!

Tell you what. Why don't you vomit on a deck and e it to me. We'll take it offline and run it up the flagpole to see what sticks to the wall.
