I can't remember what the dragons that lived outside the spheres were called in Spelljammer. It's been too long since I've even opened those books.

I don't even know. I'm just being retarded. Never read those books.

No problem. The entire premise of Spelljammer was you outfit a ship (a wooden masted ship, no less) with a furnace that burns magical items and allows you to break out of the "sphere" that your world exists in, and travel to other "worlds" in different spheres. The entirety of the AD&D universe existed in varying spheres. There were also giant chinese-esque dragons that lived in the void between spheres.

It was a strange thing in the game universe, even stranger than Gamma World.

I really wish I got into D&D, but the only guy I knew who would've have some pull to bring me in on their next campaign died of liver failure earlier this year.

RIP and respects to him.

Still haven't gotten into D&D.
