Right now this is the dilemna Im seeing. I have my own company so i dont really care much since it doesnt affect me directly. The company I work for right now doesn't like me. It's managed by a bunch of Indians, its a huge company, and i have no desire to really give a crap what they think of me. Right now we're both playing the chicken game, will I decide to quit and save them the severance, or will they instead fire me and pay out? I would care more if the company was mostly white people, but it isn't, and for all the robbing of taxpayer funds this company does, i really dont care if what im doing is not super ethical.

What's funny is the manager has told me almost a dozen times that additional escalation will happen. It's an open ended threat that means nothing, because no escalation has occurred. So apparently, now they're gonna talk to upper and raise their "concerns", which is code word for do nothing, and pretend they care. This will keep going until either the company snaps or I do. Welcome to corporate America!

Shit ive seen in the past year from Pajeets

  • Pre optimized loops with case statements. Just fucking why?! What the fuck is the point of doing this, do those fucks get paid by LOC or something?!

  • Cryptic excel sheets used to deploy files. Screw Azure or an automated code deployment process, lets throw it into an excel sheet instead. Followed by me swearing trying to figure out what the guy was smoking when he wrote it up

  • Copy/Paste hatchet jobs and hard coded sensitive data. Absolutely no thought on proper conventions, just copy/paste the shit 500 times over, and its not my problem, amirite?
