One of them is an American flag, one of them is a pro choice bumper sticker, and a cross. Nothing that fancy or poltical in my eyes. In the timespan I've had the stickers on my car, said car has been keyed numerous times, and some times the sticker itself was removed from the vehicle, my guess is in rage. My mom's reaction on the issue, is to appease the terorists and suppress my own free speech. Funnily she cited seperation of church and state as an argument, which not sure how that's even relevant when my own property is involved. Second, how is appeasing to the terrorists going to solve anything? So when a rabid person decides to cause property damage, it's somehow MY fault because I was asking for it

I believe it is better to blend in and not attract the crazy. You’ll have a better chance of physically defending yourself when necessary if the crazies cant spot you and rally an ambush. Also, I look at bumper stickers kind of like trashy tattoos. Actions speak louder than words. You don’t have to advertise morality, rather practice it.

Bumper stickers are pointless virtue signaling no matter what the cause. Is someone going to change their value system because a stranger pasted a slogan on their car?

Umm yes? It’s literally how npcs think. “What’s everyone else thinking? What’s okay according to the hive mind?”

I used to think this as well until I started to think in terms of speciation and territorialism.

While, yes, they are virtue signalling, all groups virtue signal their groups value systems. However, that isn't the REAL purpose of those stickers. The REAL purpose is signalling to other groups. Those stickers signal your active presence and act as defacto territorial claims. In addition, they signal aggressiveness because most people would just rather duck and hide and not have to confront people so anyone willing to LOUDLY proclaim group allegiance (the flag) and make proclamations about values around that is signalling a claim to territory and an aggressive posture merely by the existence of the owner of those stickers.

Advertising works, it's not as pointless as it seems.

Bumper stickers (adhesive) start looking like shit because of the elements. They ruin paint if you do decide to pull them off. They’re bait for vandalism (you know this).

There are better ways to voice your opinion and actually make some change than looking like “that crazy person”with bumper stickers and decals.

In a perfect world, you’re totally correct in saying you’re practicing your freedom of speech. But this isn’t a perfect world.

I just find it sickening at this point, put on a refugees welcome sign on your car, no one cares. Put a Jesus cross on the car, and all of a sudden, you may as well be Hitler

Because rational people don’t commit those kinds of crime.

I don't think it matters anymore. I'm a nicely dressed White dude that keeps my car clean and I've had two sets of liberals in their cars freaking out and screaming at me when I did nothing wrong. I could only conclude it was because I was white and had a better car than theirs at their age.

I think one freaked out because I smirked when I saw them in their car with their masks on.

This is how fascism works. Individuals are intimidated where they live, in their own homes, on their own streets, and they don't see the purpose in risking further property destruction or assaults by defying the fascists. So they go along. They stop speaking their minds. They do what the fascists tell them to do.

The point is lost on most people in this thread. It's not hte bumper sticker that is the problem, it is the behavior of one group having the might of the state to impose their will, whilst supressing the other, than claiming to be the victim of agression they caused. What next? Am I going to have to suppress what I say to, because it might offend someone? Where do we draw the line beyond just keep appeasing to the mob?

Yeah, something worse than having your property vandalized, could be actually catching someone in the act of doing the vandalizing. What are you going to do? If you actually do, what I feel, would be the appropriate (not legal) thing, it will probably get you arrested and end up costing you a lot, money and legal hassle. Video the offender. Discreetly follow them to their car and get the license no. Now you can identify them and learn all you need to know in order to get proper revenge. Patience is a virtue. "Revenge is a dish best served cold." Think about it...

I'd say nix the stickers, because I hate bumper stickers. Even stickers I agree with. It's a distraction on the road. It ruins a perfectly good vehicle. Nobody cares about other people's opinions out on the road. These stickers aren't changing people's minds. Useless.

Aint buyin' it. You're always posting these long winded stories fishing for identifiers, opinions and information from users.

Only f'ing losers put bumper stickers on their shit cars. Drive a vehicle nice enough that makes you not want to deface it!

Did you ever think that maybe she just wants you to put them on her car? Dumbass.🐓

I know there are 4 way security cameras for cars, there are companies where I am that install them and I think they can alert your phone when someone is near the car, so you can go out and jump on their head once they are on the ground.

The vandalism isnt the issue to me, i kinda expected it would happen. It's the normie attitude which is irrritating me, this soft idea that the best way to beat a fascist is to just succumb and die

Muh "fascists". You still think inside your enemies' paradigm and parrot their lexicon, and then bemoan the sheep-like nature of most people. But hey, that's just the way it is—normies' gonna norm... Blaming them is as pointless as blaming a bird for shitting on your car. Both strategically and morally, your blame and anger should always be directed at those who 'program' the masses.

It's the normie attitude which is irrritating me

Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.
