Im looking at Jersey right now, and from what i gather i have yet to understand why people would want to pay so much to live in such an expensive, commie dump. The rents are insane, the housing prices are double everywhere else because of property tax alone (the property tax is its own mortgage payment), you get treated like crap for holding any non liberal values, and the people here just absolutely suck, and let's not forget the cripllingly high income tax, sales tax, insurance is more expensive, illegal immigrants. I just came back from the south US area, and I'm about ready to nope out again ina. flash, if it wasn't for my parents

The thing is my properties all have a purpose, one is a doomsday bunker, one is a nice house which i can repurpose for later. What good is a house in Jersey though? I don't plan on living there for long, beyond how long my parents need me, and i have no real ties to this state beyond that. I'll take my land and my guns over the NJ bullshit

Depending on where your parents live you might be able to get away with living in PA.

PA is getting fucked too from the infestation of liberals, so they aren't much better at this point. Compared to my home state of Montana, these places all classify as commie pinko dumpsters

I totally agree that PA is moving left but, for now, it could still be a more affordable option. The place I owned in Buck's County was larger and on bigger property than any of the NJ houses and was much less expensive.
