Fuck belts

Belts make tink tiinky tink noises when you are pulling your pants up or down. that's a shitty design, because sometimes you don't want others to hear your pants going up or down.

i have looked everywhere for a belt that doesn't sound alarms, but it seems that alerting bystanders to your transitional pants status is a design requirement.

wtf belts? y u so loud?

edit: you know what else sucks? the anti-allcaps algorythm on this site keeps decapitalizing shit that should be capitalized, for example the beginning of one of my sentences in the first paragraph should start with "(capital t)hat" not "that" and wtf should be (capital w)(capital t)(capital f)

Get a ratchet-style belt instead. They’re usually trim to fit so trim conservatively to find your size.

The only noise they make is a light clicking sound when re-securing/re-latching.

I stumbled across my 1st over 6 years ago, grabbed it to try, and it still looks and functions good as new even after at least 4yrs of daily use. I have a few of them now.
