There is a large trend right now where many (specifically white) men feel unable to enact lasting positive change in their surroundings. This leads to a sense of learned helplessness and mild depression.
This is the culmination of many factors such as;
* Being blamed for all of societies problems.
* Being passed over for career advancement by racist company policy.
* Acknowledging the past and present failure of government.
* Being a responsible person.
* Being constantly bombarded with negative sentiment from the gynocentic society at large.
Etc.
Basically no matter what you do, no matter how much blood sweat or tears you spend, it will never be enough
