Yeah, it’s dumb, but it’s a fun dumb. I get to the end of this episode (s15e13) and the big lawyer calls that foxy blonde lawyer into his office. In so many words he explains to her that she is too compassionate/emotional to be a prosecutor, she’s fired. She’s hurt, dumbfounded. She asks, “is this because I’m a lesbian?” Out of the blue… Of course the big guy says no. Only thing that would have made sense is if he said, “yes, it’s because you’re a gay woman and a liberal, but I can cure you.” Then the laugh track and Benny hill song come in and he chases her around the office.
