I had to actually call the trooper's office to figure this one out. So ... every gun I own is on the no go list, due to some obscure reason, be it a flash supressor, muzzle break, etc. What was surprising is all my plinker riffles that can do virtually no damage (.22LR and .308) are illegal and on the ban list BUT my .50 cal bolt action with a muzzle break is ... legal? So the heavier duty AMR is legal, but the .22LR kids rifle is an assault weapon ... I have no words to describe what i just heard. Even the agent on the other line was at a loss of words to describe the retardation

After all this retardation, im gonna throw in the towel, bring my gf with me to the rockies and just leave, just no words right now for the retardation i just witnessed

This has happened over 400 times in NY. You're flying to some state with your firearm perfectly legally, your flight gets diverted to NY for whatever reason and you get arrested for bringing a gun to NY. They actually arrest and prosecute this "crime".

comparatively to. .50 cal, a .308 does very little damage is what i meant. So per NY logic, a .50 cal is a simple bolt action weapon and a .308 is an assault weapon, even though the .50 cal can cause material damage that is much heavier than a. .308

its weird, hypothetically if you saved a cop's life with an unlicensed CC in NYC or Jersey, you could find yourself having still commited a felony ... because the cop can just arrest you for a gun crime.

Ahhhhhh I can finally look at these stories and SMILE. MY weapons have ALL been shipped to their NEW home in the reddest of red states Just awaiting my arrival. Jew York cant do a fucking thing about it. My house here is in contract and closes in Jan. Got in just under the wire before the rates stalled the market here. My new house should be done by April and then its GOOD BYE Jew York. 31 unhappy fuckin years coming to a close. Lived on the East Coast all my life, 60 years and can't WAIT to wave bye bye. IT can slip into the ocean the same time Commiefornia does for all I care.
