I've done my time working as a contractor for quite a few (((corporations))). Three fucking times already (((they))) pulled crap on me where they cut off my contract sooner and refused to pay the agreed upon severance pay. Every time I made a scene over it, had to be escorted out by security twice. They never reported me to police over it, but in the end they paid the severance pay every time. Guess they realized it's cheaper than hiring 24/7 bodyguards. Of course, others that went quietly didn't get a cent.
One time I also took 3 boxes of chewing gums from the lounge as a compensation for emotional pain caused.
