I've had pretty good luck with shirts, sweaters, jackets, vests and coats, digging in the bins at the second-hand clothing stores. For some reason pants elude me. I never seem to find pants with the right waist and leg length. Indeed, there are not many pairs of pants available ("pair of pants" -- kind of a funny term when there is only one garment, not two). Sweat pants are the most common, and pyjama bottoms. I generally have to bite the bullet and pay full price for my pants at WalMart. Breaks my heart to fork over twenty dollars for an article of clothing.

Pants used to be more like chaps, a separate article for each leg, that were fastened together about the waist. Other garments covered your bits and butt over and under the pants. But that's why they're called a pair, even if they're permanently attached now.

ive had the same couple of pairs of tracksuit pants i wear mainly to work these days for a couple of years.

this summer i could no longer push the bottoms of them up past my calves when the sun came out. and it definitely aint from 'muh genetics' or 'muh water retention' rather from 'muh fuckin 5 boards on muh shoulders'

The majority I find are fucking flat-front slim cut; no pleat, no cuff, just shit made for boy-men.

Getting more difficult to find nice wool blends as well; everything is some poly rayon blends that do not flow well. Just shit all around.
