I was changing jobs. Had interviews with a few places and one said they required 2x 8hr days at the office to meet everyone and to do a "tech test". I laughed at them and said I was not interested. Another company had already given me a offer after one 1hr interview.

I have read about companies that give interviewees actual problems they are trying to solve for business and even if they don't hire the person they often use their code anyway. Never work for free.

Yeah I had places where the interview was painless and they talked, i talked and that was it. Other places make it very obvious they are abusing the crap out of the H1b system for their own personal gain.

The entire "work visa" system needs to be burned to the ground and rebuilt. I have family that works in larger companies where they are blatantly abusing the system and there is never action taken even when reported on.

Especially with all of the layoff's in the US over the last year even? There are more than enough Americans for the job.

One of the reasons i think the jews are trying really hard NOT to declare the US in a recession or depression is because there would be immense pressure to ship all the migrants and h1b assholes back to where they came from. Ironically since we live in a debt based system, people leaving the US is bad, and people coming in is good. But as we see now, people not spending money is as bad as outgoing migration, but with the exponential rates of the FRN, there's no way to both curb inflation and increase spending. Needless to say, the entire facade of sound money is rapidly coming to a halt
