I just interviewed with a company and they decided they wont hire until they meet a certain "minimum" of interviews. The idea being they dont want to hire the wrong person. They are literally stalling the entire process 10 fold. So much for the economy being strong as hell ....

Sounds like you applied to an H1B visa job without having a visa.

That or they didn't enter the country illegally because of "reasons".
