My work is switching our chemical base from Diversey/Johnson and Johnson to Waxie. There is not a single chemical in the Waxie portfolio is comparable to the old stuff. It's all dog shit. And worse, Waxie has "supply" issues in my area, so any time we need to order something, like magic, it's out of stock. Even their own fucking chemicals or waxie branded products.

Spent the last few months telling management, sending side by side comparison pictures, giving proof of how shit it is, with no change or once of fucks given. Sick of this shit.

Interesting that you bring those up. We've actually questioned and debated this with one of the upper managers. According to him, the primary reason for the change was cost. The secondary reason was homogenized chemical among all locations.

However from what we've heard, the REAL reason is even more infuriating. They're not getting kickbacks as you might expect. The cost per concentrate unit is comparable across the board. And homogeny across the company wasn't an issue until just recently since Diversey only makes a few products for said dispenser.

No, the reason they're switching is because Waxies is one of the few companies that sells major equipment like buffers, scrubbers, indoor power washers, etc, and they have decided to use that power to tell us that unless we begin using their chemicals, they will close our accounts because we're not spending enough money with them.

This drives me up a wall as Amazon, and used power equipment companies exist all over. But management wants it all at their fingertips or phone call access, everything else is damned for their convenience.
