Most people's problems are fuckin stupid and could be solved by not being stupid. But you can't fix stupid, and most people are stupid so I really don't have the time for it unless I think it can make my life better without making a large sacrifice. If that makes me an asshole, then that's what it is. If you ask me to solve a simple problem and I give you an answer but also tell you you're a fuckin idiot who should know better, take it in stride and know that I gave you the time a day I am compassionate, I understand the struggle because I'm not that smart myself, and because of that I don't have the time to be a mentor or a punching bag for anyone that is not family. Note: this is not directed at anyone on Poal. I just needed to rant

All you gotta do is what’s right. Sometimes it’s right to give a fuck, sometimes it’s not. Life’s tough, we’re all stupid in our own way. You’re probably an asshole from time to time but you also have every right to be one now and again. Fuck it up, dude.

That's a difficult lesson to learn. I've known people who simply couldn't get it through their heads that there are times when you simply have to let the stupid hurt people.
