I'm gonna keep calling it Twitter and there's nothing you can do about it.

Well that's fine just as long as you pick a side

I haven't seen "formerly" used yet, like faggot "Prince/Symbol, Artist Formerly Known As Prince".

EDIT: After commenting this, I almost immediately saw an article saying "X-formerly-Twitter" within its first sentence.

I have seen these though:

  • Twitter/X
  • X (Twitter)
  • Twit-X or TwitX
  • Even saw "TwiX" once, though that was probably forbidden from catching on due to potential legal reasons relating to jew "Twix" brand poison snack bars.

People should get used to it and start calling it by its new name - Twitter, now referred to as x.

Yeah, I'm willing to call it "X" -- Musk has a right to rename it, since he bought it. Always thought Twitter was a stupid name anyway. I do agree about the silliness and insanity of the "formerly known as" craze.

Musk loves the "X" brand, but I'm pretty sure the reason he's plonking the Twitter trademark so deeply is because he's making a move to repudiate some of the debts the platform incurred before he took it over.

I wanted to make a reference to Sneed's Feed & Seed (Formerly Chuck's), but I couldn't come up with anything clever. 🤷‍♂️
