So about a year ago I decided to pull up my big girl panties and go to the dentist. It had been 20+ years between an ex who took all my money and absolutely (wouldn't Believe me if I told you) dentists, I went and got them cleaned. Great hygienists and dentist who didn't give me shit for not wanting fluoride (I have fluorosis). One cavity.

Asked to have the rest replaced because they were metal. I have autoimmune issues and have heard it would help. It did. My antibody numbers went down by a bit.

Well one of my teeth without the filling started getting weird. Fine go back and ask. Oh must be too high. Filed it down . Still weird but I don't want to argue.

A few days ago I wake up in agony. Sigh. I swear I shouldn't have bothered but my teeth look decent. I'll go back in Tuesday.

20 years. Baking soda and salt. Less than a year of 'real' dentist and ouch so much I don't even want to play Vidya. ..though my downstairs can die for all I care.

Yeah. I wonder after my experience. This one hasn't tried to screw me but now I have pain when I haven't in decades. I will not allow a root canal and he gets a kick out of me over analyzing my x rays. 8 like him personally but now I wonder if they cleaned the protective coating off and pissed off my teeth.

My childhood dentist was sued for malpractice and killed himself during the trial (last name (((Greenblatt))).

If they used the ultrasonic cleaning tool. I have found it micro cracks the enamel on some teeth leading to cavities and many problems, regular manual cleaning does not have this issue.

The old studies on overall health issues and root canals should be looked at. Personally I will never get one.
