First time I traveled for my employer, we used American. Their email service is so fucked up that my domain email said "This is so bad I'm not even going to pass it from spam, you literally can't have it." Turned out they had things in their SPF records that had been obsoleted 10 years ago and it was causing issues. There's still something wrong, it's like the whole domain has been blacklisted by the spam filter, I've never seen it present emails in that manner.

And now there's Delta. Delta sets their envelope to this giant-ass bounce- crap. That's not normally a problem, but they have a bad email address on file for me. They took the one I gave them, the one in my account, and added XXX_ to the front of it. Of course, that's an invalid address, so every 15 minutes I get a log notification that yet another bad email from Delta has been rejected. They can't even fix it because they don't know how or why it's happening, or even where that email address came from. Tried to insist it was a spammer and they didn't like it when I said "Well, since it's got your IP address in it, they have access to your systems and you have a problem..."

I don't have a choice but to blacklist both of these companies. What the fuck is so hard about email?

Welcome to the competency crisis. The kindly white gentlemen who set up that company's email system are dead and replaced with twerking mulattos. Thank science!

Oh I know. I deal with it every day. Companies have email systems they set up 25 years ago and they wonder why it won't get delivered today.

Couldn't have said it better myself. It's all crumbling and I kind of love it.

If they were a proper airline, they would send a hand-written letter.

Call India. That’s where most of the tech support is

Quite surprisingly, when I called Delta I got a lady with a heavy southern accent.

Some Indian scammers have been working on their accents in recent years so that they come off sounding more authentic/legitimate when they claim to be the IRS.
