Over the years I've seen some videos on jewtube of these Minecraft/Garry's Mod/Mario 64 gameplays called ARGs (idk what it stands for) or Blender animations edited to look like VHS tapes of which is an example of a young subgenre called analog horror. These videos usually have decent editing but they often lack creativity and usually fall into one of two plotines.

Plot A

be me see dark figure it vanishes 10 minutes later uh oh i am in a dark and creepy place now SPOOKY SCARY SKELETONS, SEND SHIVERS DOWN YOUR SPINE end scene

Plot B

be me find weird shit turns out it is virus get infected either turn into a zombie or die end scene

It's gotten repetitive to the point that only soyboys and kids are into it now. Though I always thought horror was pretty stupid lol

I know exactly what you're talking about. My kids will find that shit and fortunately ask me why this is lame as fuck because I have actual VHS of slashers back in the day and they've seen them. I don't know who cooked up the formula for the new shit (my guess is a pedo kike and that 10 mins later is probably some TOS violation shit) but it's retarded.
