If you're too retarded to update your own machine, then you don't get software, period. And no, I don't mean windows updates, but your dependencies for libraries like python etc., you shouldn't get software if you don't want to play in 2025.

Use a VM, nigger. Docker is such a trash piece of software that it's caused me the last 12 hours of retardation on Artix because some niggers at nvidia change their container toolkit which is only necessary BECAUSE OF DOCKER and moved files around in a way that isn't specifically mentioned. Seriously, fuck off. i just had to figure out how to pull the source for the drivers that were niggered from the start, and compile for my own machine. All to be able to run ollama, which already has support. But I got dragged into the idea of doing it within docker instead of within my install of Artix itself.

AND NOW I HAVE TO INSTALL OPENWEBUI INSIDE OF A DOCKER CONTAINER AND MANAGE 3 DIFFERENT NICS FOR THEM TO COMMUNICATE. I am actually being groomed by the FBI, only explanation.

I love Docker! It keeps me employed. It's so fucking complicated after you add AKS, Helm, GitActions, ArgoCd and all the other shit required, few people understand it. Keep this shit up Docker, I want a raise.

But Docker is best with Windows! KEK.

Docker is to software development and design as self-driving cars are to driving. Docker will allow windows, mac and (((sytem.d))) the advantage of staying lazy. Rather than being good. the entire line, retort, meme of "WORKS ON MY MACHINE!" is a point against docker, not for docker. Docker allows for the continued nonstandardization of systems. Have you ever built something wit h parts from a number of different manufacturers / suppliers? You may need 4, 5, 6 different proprietary bits, heads or whatever parts for whatever socket type or screw type. WELL DOCKER FIXES THAT. No, fuck that, keep the pain going, force the users (developers in this case) to demand standardization happen.

I feel violence surging through my veins reading this. However, shit like this is what keeps people like us employed until the end of time.

Yet another piece of tech to try to eliminate part of the "human" part of the tech stack. Docker was to get rid of SA's. Now its ran entirely by DevOps/SA's since developers can never be trusted to do fucking anything right when it comes to infra or security.

I am one of those people that you hire to "un-fuck" all of the shit that you did for the last few years. I don't love it but FFS.
