I just want to grab the week's groceries in 30 mins (in & out of the store) and be home to cook some of 'em and start unwinding. Yet the women are out in droves, with the children, grabbing two carts of every processed food in the store. Clogging the aisles. Long lines at the registers. It's 5:15 PM and you should already be home cooking this shit! Single dudes like me just want a smooth trip through the store. This is my one chance to visit the market. We do our own cooking, at least until we find one of your species to do it for us.

Did you not have ALL DAMN DAY to do the grocery shopping? What are you doing all day,

They are probally getting out of work and picking the kids up.

I know my mom would often run to the grocery store around dinner time because she would need at least one thing for dinner. She really didn't meal plan and worked.

I try to do my grocery shopping earlier in the day but sometimes the day gets away from me. I'll say after this task then we will go, then the baby needs to nurse and falls asleep and I'm not waking a baby unless I have to. And then the kids still aren't dressed and no one can find there shoes and if they can they don't want to wear those shoes- I tell them to anyway and then there is whinning. Then they run upstairs to grab a doll that has to come too and the baby poops. It's a whole thing getting kids out of the house sometimes and before I know it it's 4:30 and grocery shopping always takes longer than I think it will.

Usually we do still manage the morning though because it's easier to shop with kids when the store isn't so busy.
