Literally from that same page:
>EPIC takes a series of 10 images using different narrowband spectral filters -- from ultraviolet to near infrared -- to produce a variety of science products. The red, green and blue channel images are used in these color images.
If you can’t differentiate between a photo - a static image, and a composite, then that’s on you.
So any digital means "not a picture", got it.
No, you quite obviously do NOT get it.
When I take a photo with my DSLR it takes one image.
If I change the settings to HDR, it takes a set number of images, eg 3, and combines them in camera. That is 3 photos combined into one photo, but it is not REALLY one photo, it’s a composite of 3 photos.
Further still, in photoshop I can combine multiple images in layers... again not one image, but a composite image. I can also stitch together any number of photos to create panoramic photos etc
Does it need to be clearer than that?
Now all you need is an excuse that it isn't a real pic any more.
