What always goes unsaid with these kinds of arguments is that inequality is bad. Why is it bad? Imagine a world with perfect equality. Every 100-meter dash ends in a tie. All horses cross the finish line at the same time. Every baseball game is a tie. You can't get ahead and make more money than your neighbors no matter how much training, experience, and education you get.
This is fucking stupid. Of course there's inequality. Differentials are the driving force of the universe, whether we're talking about pressure, temperature, wealth, ability, or power.
Why is it bad?
Differentials are the driving force of the universe
That's why it is bad. These people are anti-reality, as a cult of the insane.
1948 is their bible, but Harrison Bergeron is their marching orders.
