It took me years to determine the most accurate news sites (mostly USA based) in the alt-news universe. I started with about 100 sites when I was on VOAT. I boiled that down to about 30 that were reliably accurate and covered the majority of breaking news I was most interested in. Most of the sites you see posted here are good, otherwise the uproar over bogus articles would be relentless. We have a very unforgiving crowd here, lol!
To archive an article, use archive.today --- https://archive.ph/, https://archive.md/ or whichever site you might get redirected to (processing centers located nearest to you). Enter the url for the article to be archived, let it process, when done the new url is displayed and copy/pasta the new url to your post or comment. Super easy, processing might take a couple of minutes. Also, to assure users anywhere can retrieve the archived copy, change the ".ph" or ".md" in the url to ".today". Sometimes the article is already archived by someone else, in that case you will get their archived url in seconds because it was already processed.

I'm the "be civil to me, I'll be civil to you" type. Not into the name calling crap, just here to try to understand the truth of what the hell is really going on in this crazy clown world. We're all in this together, we can disagree, discuss, debate etc without being disrespectful. Though some here do get their kicks from that.
