"Academics" is problematic. It is privilege based on credentials handed out by other privileged, credentialed supremacists. True equity would entail having non-educated POCs be valued just as much as academics, but these privileged and credentialed (((academics))) are oppressing these "street-smart" POCs by excluding them from their papers and research. Until these (((academics))) relinquish their positions of authority to determine what is and isn't socially acceptable and let non-academic POCs have their equal say, then these (((academics))) are nothing more than oppressively colonizers and elitist racists.
