As usual, Tim Poole is an idiot. It used to be an education meant you learned something. It generally prepared you to succeed in your field. Today, for the majority of degrees, it simply means you went into debt for a piece of paper. Most people do not benefit from degrees. Back then people generally didn't get degrees unless they could benefit from it. As such, those with degrees were generally above average in intelligence. Those that could benefit, generally did. Those that couldn't, didn't. Today, the most useless get useless degrees. They basically go into debt for indoctrination.
