My cousin got a degree in sociology and wrote a book she proudly showed me. I flipped open the book, read a few paragraphs to realize she had fluffed it up with quite a few psychobabble words and woke jargon to literally cover up for saying nothing important. A book of bullshit. At the time I was helping her with pollination services. Every day was full of her panic over self created problems and her resistance to practical solutions. She insists on unloading beehives onto a two lane highway when we could have entered the orchard. Car comes along at high speed and clips the forklift load. I put the hives back together as best I can while she argues with driver and police. Next load the pin for the lift chain falls out as it was broken in crash and she wants to wake up a friend to come out and finish the operation. Instead I rummage in tool box, find drill bit of proper size, secure it with wire from fence by engaging drill bit flutes and we finish. One tire has slow leak, I inform her we need to visit truck shop and have it repaired. She tells me hitting the tire with steel bar tells me nothing. That night tire is flat while truck is fully loaded. I have to spend an hour slowly pumping tire with pump designed for cars. In morning we go to truck repair. She drives into soft shoulder and wants to call friend to pull her truck out. She claims shovel won't work. I dig it out. Unload forklift and remove trailer. Use forklift to pull while she drives. Hook up trailer I pulled into place with forks, load up forklift and we leave. Every day was a series of mishaps, her panic and hysteria while arguing. One day I realized even academically she was also a fake. We were discussing religious fanatics and I commented that alot of fanaticism was fueled by ignorance. Since we were discussing some family members she got defensive. She commented that they weren't ignorant, they just didn't know.
