If the aero guys are worth a shit, they'd make your life easier by making wings that are uniformly loaded so you can make them lighter, instead of having focused loads with tons of skin friction and shear drag. Forcing you to make stronger structures to cover their incompetence, and self righteousness, instead of working together to make each other's lives simpler.
