This is just capacitive charging current. The disconnected wire shows that. It still takes wire-length time for the current to actually come "on". He just leaves that part undiscussed (OP is a fag). So why does the bulk of the current come after light delay down the wire??? That's the part that runs counter to his point. That's the part to be discussed. I see they even used a giant diameter wire/pipe to reduce inductance to get a faster current rise (good experimental technique). Despite this it still took time for the full current to rise and the later rise looks sudden, unlike a charging inductor.

There is very clearly a wavefront travelling down the wire. You see that in the second (big) current rise. And if waves only travel straight through space like he asserts, then what is a wave guide? LoL. People sucking him off. Jfc.
