What shits me is
A. We don't know what gravity is. Never been observed or understood completely as a process. We can only observe and calculate its effects.
B. They just made up dark matter to make their model fit without any proof or serious effort to instead make their model fit the observations. Lazy
No one ever talks about it, but gravity also infers FTL. We know this from watching orbits and the influence of this orbit on their stars. The speed at which wobbles occur infer FTL communication of force in some unknown way. Unless of course, we are observing effect and cause or some such craziness.
So not only do we not know what gravity actually is, we know we don't even begin to understand it. And we ignore that because it means it confirms our understanding of physics at the solar system level is lacking or wrong and it confirms our understanding at the galaxy level is completely wrong. Best to add some mathematical magic like "dark energy" and "dark matter" to avoid reality.
They did measure the deed of gravity propagation a few years back using jupiter and it came out at the speed of light
Yes. And there are corner cases where it's not the case. Or they are forced to admit there is yet another unknown force at play - which works at FTL speeds.
No matter how you view it, there remains a ton of WTF surrounding gravity and our knuckle dragging understanding of it.
