We're not equal, some will die early because of drinking and/or smoking, some just won't for god knows what reason I don't think I'll ever know what it's like to be an alcoholic, and quite frankly I don't want to know I've noticed that, some people get hooked on alcohol pretty fast and pretty hard, and some just don't, and I think it has to do with the way the liver processes alcohol, it's like sugar, it generates high levels of glycemia and on some people it really generates an effect and a dependency that others aren't subject too. Also, you have psychological issues, often related to the relationship with the mother, the bottle being mother's tits, sort of. You also have people killing themselves with alcohol, as a way of screaming for help/attention. And you have people who just can't stand being sober because they can't stand reality, so they feel the need to lose their lucidity, literally And of course, you have people who check all the boxes... It's like that
