Sadly no caves near me, but we moved to a place where we think we have as good a chance as any of surviving the multiple challenges that will be pressed upon us. The first challenges will be from man, and for that we chose to exit society. From there it’s up to us to prepare fully for everything else.
Just watch the news on the magnetic poles. If they start moving the wrong way suddenly, along with a field strength collapse, make it a priority.
We are. While we brought technology with us to speed our plan along, we know it will all fail eventually and in the end none of it will work. We are rewinding technology a bit tying to engineer an existence without electricity. Giligans island was a good primer, mosquito coast a dose of realism. Hydro with kinetic take offs (grain grind by hand sucks) for tools and kitchen and food cooling is in the works. It’s actually a lot of fun, because society sucks right now and I miss it zero and everything I do Beneifts me and my family into the future.
That's cool. Analog is the way to go!
