i've dabbled and had good experiences. In my experience the best part of lsd or mushrooms (very different experiences) is that they break down many of your preconceived notions and constructs in your head.
without blathering on. humans are repetitive. the things that help us through life we generally repeat processes over and over (get up, get dressed, go to work/school, come home, etc.). Over time we develop our way of doing things because it works without questioning it much and this is neither good nor bad, just how humans are.
these substances help to break down the little biases/walls we've subconsciously developed over our life and allows your brain to take a new perspective on many issues from small to big, personal to impersonal.
I think these things used very few and far between, in the right setting, with the right ppl, can be helpful in dealing with stress and giving new perspective and hopefully gratitude.
i see there's a lot going on now with medicinal psychedelics. i really hope they bring ppl suffering true mental illness some comfort and relief. a mind is a terrible thing to waste and it's the worst prison imaginable.
