It would really be nice if "science" articles used proper terminology rather than using improper concepts like 2D.
I thought somehow they managed to come up with a new material that had only 2 dimensions. Nope. They described the material as 2D because one dimension is only 1 or two atoms thick. Maybe I'm too stupid to understand, but if a material is 1 or 2 atoms thick, isn't that still 3D? Because if the material was truly 2D, you could stack an infinite number of them on top of each other and it would still have no thickness.
This makes it extremely difficult for me to "trust" any so called "science" anymore because they fucking lie about it all the time.
Just like how everything is AI instead of a standard program running recursive if/then loops.
Exactly.
You know the plan is to convince enough people their algorithms are cognizant and give the algorithms the right to vote.
